Inspection and rejection
Overview
Inspection and product reject systems are used to check if a product is defective. Inside the feeder waste extension, the product is checked by a scanner / camera during its passage. If a product is defective, it is automatically rejected and transferred to the appropriate container. If the scanner / camera reads the product as “good” it is fed into the packaging machine. This ensures that only “good” products, 100% checked, continue their journey along the production line.
