DCM implements all these state-of-the-art requirements in a targeted way: The new Papertec 800 packages items with variable dimensions. From a pair of socks to a jacket, all products are fully automatically packaged in a paper package sealed with a shipping label.
With pure kraft paper, no PE liner and no paper waste, the items are packed to fit perfectly and are made available for shipping. The paper packaging material is completely recyclable and compostable and thanks to a reclosure option, the packaging can be reused by the customer for shipping returns.
The advantage of paper compared to cardboard is its cost-effectiveness, accompanied by the possibility of storage in rolls in a space-saving way and in a single width. The Papertec 800’s fully automated packaging process also enables significant savings in personnel costs.
Numerous online commerce companies have set themselves the goal of climate-neutral production in the near future. The new Papertec 800 can be used to more easily implement innovative and ecological concepts (such as the drastic reduction in the use of material through the use of paper packaging) and the set goals can be achieved more quickly.
